what happened in Colorado is a tradgedy. This is no time to be cracking jokes about gun control. This is a time to come together as a country with our thoughts and prayers for the 12 people killed and many more injured…
My point is this has nothing to do with politics. More to do with why you are even pointing that fact out? That out of everything that is what you choose to focus on. Making this political and having it come off as a sarcastic joke is insulting to the people who lost loved ones, died, were injured, mor witnessed it all. Yeah, gun control people will be coming out of the woodwork, but now is no time to be saying anything about it. And how in the world is that the first thing you think about? That you’re like “that sucks…here come more gun control people.” I’m not on either side of the debate, all I’m saying is that now is not the time for these comments and it shows who we are as a country when this is the first thing we think about. Someone talking about killing themselves gets 1000 reblogs…but so does a joke/snide comment made about people in a shooting. Where do we draw the line? I’m sorry, but I can’t help but draw it. And this is coming from Someone who has struggled with suicidal attempts and tendencies. imnnot belittling their struggle in any way, just making a point. Compassion should be given to every living being, and respect given to those affected in this tradgedy. My point is: Some comments are best kept to yourself.
Today is a perfect day to go out to the range and get familiar with your favorite self-defence firearm.
There is a time for mourning, and there is a time for preparation.
