What would happen in extreme cases in America, like if there was another Jim Jones or if there was a terrorist attack. Wouldn't having a stateless society be counter productive if you can't punish those who harm others? Wouldn't things be in a state of constant chaos if as a whole, Americans couldn't decide on something to value as a whole and punish those who don't abide by those values? I'm not trying to be disrespectful, just trying to understand something I'm ignorant about.
