Hey man. For your new rig, you didn't post a budget, but I strongly suggest the Asus Xonar D1 or DX for a traditional card, or the ODAC if you're looking to go higher end. Also, newegg is having a sale on the XFX 6950 right now for $200. Just built my friend a native hackintosh rig with a i5 2500 for $800ish. I can send you what he ordered if you want. The Antec One case looks great too and is only $45.
I have actually been considering the Xonar DG, but I will take a look at the D1 and DX models. I’m just basically looking for a great sound card for gaming and movies that won’t break the bank. Newegg has the DG for $26.
