This blog is mostly about my Libertarianism/Voluntaryist/Anarcho Capitalist views and anything else I find amusing, interesting, or awesome.

I'm a diehard fan of death metal, stalwart Anarcho-Capitalist and Libertarian, connoisseur of horror/exploitation/sci-fi films, comic books, and sarcasm.

What beliefs do you hold as a Libertarianism/Voluntaryist/Anarcho Capitalist? Just please give me a run down of foreign, domestic, and economic beliefs. I'm a bit confused. (:

Foreign: “Diplomacy and commerce with all nations. Alliances with none.” -Thomas Jefferson

Domestic: Government has no legitimate authority to decide what is best for the individual. Voluntary exchange is preferable than State sponsored coercion. Look up “Stateless society”, “Voluntaryist”, “Non-Aggression Principle”.

Economics: I fully support a totally free market. I support total privatization of all industry. I support multiple, competing currencies compared to the fiat, debt currency that the Federal Reserve has a monopoly on. Read the works of Murray Rothbard, F.A. Hayek, and Henry Hazlitt.

To boil it all down…I am an anarchist. Now, that particular term has some bad connotations attached to it. Do I wish to burn buildings, cars, etc and wear all black clothing while attacking others? Of course not. The media and government use this term to describe simple minded goons who just look for an excuse to do idiotic things. A true anarchist abhors the government and wishes to see a stateless society in which the Non-Aggression Principle and voluntary interactions are the only tenets which govern the individual. One group of people, calling themselves “the government”, has no right to force a tax, criminalize something you would like to eat, drink, or smoke. It should have no say in your life at all. Through a system of voluntary exchanges, contract rights, and the Non-Aggression Principle, we can thrive and prosper.

I hope this answered your questions or at the very least gave you a launching point to research the terms I used.

Picked up these books today. I’ve read The Road to Serfdom already, but this is the “definitive” edition. Couldn’t pass that up…
