This blog is mostly about my Libertarianism/Voluntaryist/Anarcho Capitalist views and anything else I find amusing, interesting, or awesome.

I'm a diehard fan of death metal, stalwart Anarcho-Capitalist and Libertarian, connoisseur of horror/exploitation/sci-fi films, comic books, and sarcasm.

A society that boos or ridicules the Golden Rule is not a moral society.
I want nothing from the federal government. I would prefer they go back to the original constitution and read what was written about taxation and what was intended. I prefer freedom. I would like people who work hard to reap the benefits from their effort. That’s freedom. Not, I work hard, I do good, others reap from my hard work. I would like to choose whom I help based on my values, not the governments. I love helping others, but it should be my choice on how I do it. And you should have that choice as well. I would much rather take my chances on self-sufficiency, that to depend on a government. Allow the ones who want that, to have it ; and allow the rest to figure it out for yourselves. It’s fine to “want”! Just leave me out of your wants, and I’ll offer you the same courtesy. I learned if your bills were 5 dollars and you only made 2 dollars. Something had to change, and that was my responsibility. Not someone else’s. Thats common sense. Government should learn that concept. You cannot spend what you don’t have without severe consequences. Churches and charities are created to help the needy and less fortunate, NOT THE GOVERNMENT! Ron Paul is right to defend the original constitution, and the rest of us should too. I like what Steve Stanek shared: The nation’s first executive to swear an oath to the Constitution—George Washington—wrote, “Government is not reason; it is not eloquence; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.” The Constitution, as its author James Madison told us, was designed to give the federal government “few and defined” powers. Instead, the government has become a fearful master with nearly limitless powers, including the power to raise and spend as much money as it likes in whatever ways it chooses. If we are to take more control of our lives and enjoy more of the fruits of our livelihoods, we need to recognize the truth in Washington’s warning and embrace Madison’s aim in writing a Constitution that would make the federal government more reasonable and far less forceful than it has become.
Breaking: Ron Paul harassed by TSA while trying to leave Tampa
From Lew Rockwell:

HOT: Ron Paul left Tampa yesterday.

Ron, Carol, and one of their granddaughters left the GOP snake pit yesterday afternoon, but the State was not yet through with them. At the little airport in Clearwater, 8 TSA agents descended on them and ordered them not to board their private plane. First, the pilots, the airplane, and the passengers would have to be screened in great detail, because Romney might be nearby. After a long examination of the pilots and their credentials, the agents said they had to check the plane for explosives. One of the pilots noted that the plane, full of gas, was already a bomb. Then Carol Paul, who has a pacemaker, refused to be screened, and an aide started taking video of the whole rotten process. At that point, the TSA backed down and let them through, to Texas and freedom.

thoughts on Ron Paul?

I admire his consistency and his dedication to what he believes in. I agree with him on a lot of things. I just see the political process as a form of usurping the individual. No one is more qualified to lead you than yourself.

I will say this…after reading Ron Paul’s books and seeing his interviews…I truly believe he is a voluntaryist and a free market anarchist.

I had a pretty awesome weekend visiting my grandparents and my French relatives in Iowa. I didn’t get a chance to talk politics with them mostly due to the language barrier but I did wear my End The Fed and Smash The State shirts. I did have debates with my grandpa over Ron Paul (he is very much anti-Ron Paul and says he “lives in a dream world”) and over gun rights (he believes we shouldn’t have firearms in our homes and having a gun is a macho thing, despite the fact he has a rifle, shotgun, and pistol). It baffles me that a retired military man of over 20 years doesn’t believe in owning firearms for self defence and property defence.

I had a very good weekend.
